Right from bridal shower gown to Indian wedding reception Priyanka Chopra hasn’t paused to go all on fashion to wear a serious of stunning dress in all occasion of her wedding. Here, are some of the hand full collection of Priyanka Chopra different wedding dress worn in her wedding ceremonies.
Bridal Shower Gown
The first celebration of the wedding starts with the bridal shower at the Blue Box Cafe in Tiffany & Co. Priyanka Chopra has featured herself in an ivory silk Marchesa gown with a feathered skirt.
The Mehendi Attire
Of all her outfit, the Mehendi outfit was the most eye catchy. The outfit is designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla which is designed with the reflection of Rajasthan’s colour story. It is stated that Priyanka’s Mehendi outfit was made out of 48 Kallis to gain its exuberant flare!
Sangeet dress
In this pre-wedding event, Priyanka Chopra opted for a traditional Indian style of grey with silver shade saree designed by the duo in which she looked like a desi girl. It is noted that her saree was hand- embroidered and tinseled in silver and gold. She complemented the saree with a diamond choker to give a complete look.
The Wedding Gown
The wedding starts with the Christian ceremony, where Priyanka wore a Ralph Lauren gown designed with crystal seed beading and Swarovski crystal adornment. The gown is more special to her as it is the first wedding gown designed by the creator for someone outside of his family. Priyanka Chopra wedding dress is a hand-beaded dress with scroll motifs, florals, scalloped sleeves, and a high neck collar. The veil of the gown is 75 feet long.
Whereas, the groom decked for a custom Ralph Lauren Purple Label black tuxedo and patent lace-up dress shoes.
Traditional Red Lehenga
The second ceremony of the wedding is the traditional Hindu culture wedding, where Priyanka Chopra wore a red Lehenga designed by the Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi. A report states that more than 110 embroiderers worked for 3,720 hours to design this detailed red color bridal lehenga. It is also said, that Chopra requested to embed Jonas and her parent’s name sewn on the waistband in her mother tongue.
Reception Lehenga
Next, comes the wedding reception held in Delhi at Taj Palace Hotel. For this occasion Priyanka Chopra wore a heavy embroidered designer lehenga in gold and champagne shade which is complemented with heavy and bold earrings, traditional Indian jewellery and a low slug chignon decked decorated with hair flowers.
Mumbai Reception Look
Post their honeymoon, the couple throws a party in Mumbai for which Priyanka wore a brocade corset with a navy blue lehenga and a sheet dupatta which is designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The outfit was accessorized with a heavy diamond neckpiece and a perfect low hair bun adorn with flowers. Low makeup with red lipstick gives a complete finish a diva look.
Mumbai Reception part-2
The final reception held in Mumbai is for the Bollywood counterpart. For this one last reception look Priyanka wore a custom sky blue lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The skirt of the lehenga is tulle with embroidered work with matching lacework blouse. Chiffon flowers, bugle beads, crystals, and sequins made the outfit more elegant.
